Terms of Service

Please ensure you have read and fully understood and agree to the following terms of service before you secure your booking.

Booking Fee

  • £25 non-refundable booking fee is required for all bookings. This is to secure my services for your wedding/event date. I cannot secure a date until the booking fee is received.

  • The booking fee is deducted from the total end balance.

  • Booking fee is payable by via Bank Transfer, Cash or Card.


Payments & Balance

  • Your balance is due, in full, 1 Month before your Event date or before your Bridal Trial date, whichever is sooner.

  • All payments are to be made by Bank transfer with your name as a reference.

  • Receipt / Payment Acknowledgments are issued for all payments received and you're welcome to make monthly/ ad-hoc/ interim payments, whatever is best for you.

  • If your Balance payment is not received before your Bridal Trial the appointment will be deemed as cancelled.  I will attempt to contact you on 3 occasions using the details provided to me at the time of booking to reschedule your trial. If no contact is received back from the client within 14 days of your Event Date your booking will be deemed as cancelled and all monies paid will be retained.



  • Bridal Trial are already included within the Bridal Package. You purchase additional trials at £100 if you wish.

  • Trials for Bridesmaids/Mother of Groom etc are charged at £50 for either Makeup or Hair, and are optional, but recommended, to ensure everyone will be delighted with their service.

  • I suggest you have your trial between 1 and 3 months before the Wedding.

  • If your full balance payment is not received before the Trial appointment, the Trial cannot take place.

  • If you cannot attend your trial you must inform me no later than 48 hours before the appointment.



  • Cancellation notice received before a trial has been held: Your £25 booking fee which held your wedding date is retained, all other payments are refunded to you in full.

  • Cancellation notice received after your trial has been held: Your £25 booking fee which held your wedding date is retained plus £100 for the Bridal Trial and £50 each for any additional trials that were conducted.

  • Cancellation notice received 14 days or less before the event date: Full booking amount is lost.

  • You are free to cancel your booking at any time.

  • You must confirm your cancellation in writing (email is fine) and this confirmation must come from the Bride / whoever made the booking.

  • Refunds cannot be issued for any reason after or on the Event Date.

  • In the extremely unlikely event that I have to cancel the booking due to, but not limited to, severely adverse weather conditions, severe illness or any circumstances where I cannot physically perform my duties , I will issue a full refund. No further compensation will be offered. Please be assured that I have never had to cancel any service before and any such event is highly unlikely, would not be done lightly, and all possible efforts will be made to prevent any such occurrence.


Client Responsibilities

  • You must inform me of any sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions of all members of the Party that may be affected by skincare products, makeup or any of my equipment. I cannot be held liable for any losses or damages that are incurred due to the Client’s failure to inform me of any known conditions or sensitivities of anyone in the Party.

  • I reserve the right to refuse service to the Client or members the Party for any reason (i.e under the influence of alcohol/ violent, threatening or unreasonable behaviour etc) No refunds will be made in this circumstance.

  • You must ensure that I can be work in a safe and suitable environment with good (preferably natural) lighting, electricity points, and hand washing facilities.

  • Please ensure every member of your Party is aware of timings on the day and that they need to be available for their service to be carried out. No refunds are given for members of your Bridal Party that are not present to receive their service.


On Event Day

  • To minimise delays please ensure that every party member is free of Makeup, their teeth cleaned, have been to the toilet and contact lenses are applied (if applicable), before sitting in the Makeup chair.

  • Please ensure Hair is clean, completely dry, and free from any products (If you have booked a Hair Service)

  • For their own safety, please ensure that members of your party (especially children) are kept away from the Makeup station and the styling tools / products at all times. Styling irons etc are extremely hot, and hazardous, and I cannot be held responsible if an adult or child is injured as a result of touching any of the equipment.

  • It is the clients responsibility to tell me if at any point you feel that something needs changing to your taste/preference. Everyone is different has different ideas of what perfect looks like. Remember, communication is key and I won't be offended if you'd like small changes made on the day, but please let me know before I leave otherwise I am unable to do anything to assist.

  • Don't forget though that I am being hired by you to "do my thing" and I have my preferred style of Hair and Makeup that I offer - Please ensure you've checked through photographs of my past work so you're happy with my style before booking. Trials are the best time to work through different looks to ensure you'll be delighted on the Big Day.


Event Day Delays

  • Please ensure all Party members are ready to receive their service as I cannot be held responsible for delays in timings on your Event day. 

  • I check traffic and weather reports the night before and on the day and I will always make allowances to leave earlier etc if needed but I cannot be held responsible if I experience any unforeseen delays, which are out of my control.

  • No refunds or compensation will be given for my late arrival, or the late arrival of Party members who turn up too late to receive their full service.

  • Please let me know if you are aware of anything that could delay or hinder my journey, such as diversions, road closures, speed restrictions, match days, market days, sat-nav location issues, directions etc, as soon as possible so I can factor this into my route. 


Photography and Image Copyright

  • The Client expressly agrees that I may use any photography of my work for publicity purposes which include, but are not limited to, use on my Website, printed or online mediums and Social Media pages.

  • I will not release images from Trials or Events until after the Event day and clients will not be tagged in any images, but you are welcome to tag yourself if you like.

  • I'm admittedly a little camera shy but I do give my permission to be photographed during your wedding / event date by you, family members and your official Photographer. If any photographs incorporating me "in action", or my Hair and/or Makeup Designs are to be used for commercial purposes (such as your Photographers website, their social media or any form of advertising) please request they credit “VIP Bridal Makeup Artist” as the Hair and/or Makeup Artist. I'd love a copy of some photos of my work too and will happily credit the Photographers details on my website/social media.


Travel & Parking Costs

  • All “LE” Leicestershire postcodes are covered by me at no additional cost.

  • If the Venue is outside of this area the Client will have £1.00 per mile round trip (there and back) from my Home Studio added to the invoice. Mileage is taken from an online route finder from postcode to postcode.

  • The Client should check with their Venue as to whether there are any Car Parking Charges as I will need to add this charge to the invoice.

  • You agree that any unexpected charges incurred for parking, accommodation or additional services will invoiced to you after the Event date and need to be paid within 30 days.

  • If you require me to attend the Event Venue before 7am there is a £25.00 charge per ½ hour. Timings are calculated (very roughly) on 1 hour for Makeup and 45 mins for Hair, but are dependent on your individual requirements and this can be discussed at the trial.



  • Please ensure little ones are supervised during your Event Day and kept away from the treatment area.


Under 16's

  • Require Parental Consent to be obtained before Service can commence.
